Senior sessions have and always will be the sessions that allow me to slow down. To be able to focus on one person is definitely a bit of a treat. Sometimes I chuckle to myself as I think of my own Senior photos…..let’s just say it was when overalls and a bridge to lay on was a must. Ha. I don’t think I had even heard of fake lashes. My only objective was to look tan. And that was about it. lol. That, and perhaps a tree to lean against along with the bridge–definitely needed that bridge! Let’s just say the Seniors these days know a lot more about style, posing and what makeup photographs the best. So, I just continue to chuckle as I shoot and admire the beautiful souls as they prepare to launch into the great big world of adulthood. I pray and wish my best to them. And I always, always leave their session feeling a bit like a mother hen because I want the world (and themselves) to see them as the beautiful and unique souls they are.
